Job Description

  • Perform basic laboratory techniques
  • Perform media preparation
  • Maintain/calibrate equipment
  • Prepare/wash glassware
  • Receipt of consumables and lab stocking
  • Clean and maintain lab spacesand other duties as assigned.
  • Preparing and sanitizing racks
  • Operating high pressure hot water washer
  • Work with a variety of chemicals for sanitation of lab equipment
  • Assessing racks thoroughly during sanitation process for any maintenance required
  • Washing glassware, feeders, etc. as required
  • Ability to safely wear a respirator required
  • Operation and use of Edstrom systems/chlorine injection system to flush racks

Qualifications

The Ideal Candidate would possess:
  • Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
  • Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Additional Information

Hours are Monday - Friday and weekends/overtime as needed.
