Your Role:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Project Process Engineer to join our manufacturing team. They will oversee and optimize production processes, lead engineering projects, and ensure the efficient production of pearlescent pigments. Combining project management with process engineering, this position focuses on driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

Project Management:

  • Lead engineering projects, including equipment upgrades, facility improvements, and new product introductions
  • Define project scope, develop schedules, and ensure timely completion within budget
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives

Process Optimization:
  • Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to enhance quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness
  • Monitor production systems to identify and address inefficiencies or bottlenecks
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for consistent production outcomes

Equipment and Maintenance:
  • Oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment
  • Work closely with maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime

Quality and Safety:
  • Ensure all processes comply with safety and environmental regulations
  • Support quality assurance initiatives to maintain product standards and certifications

Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Collect and analyze process data to support decision-making and continuous improvement
  • Prepare detailed technical reports and present findings to stakeholders

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other Engineering disciplines
  • 5+ years' of experience in process engineering or project management in a chemical production manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient in problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
  • Experience with pearlescent pigment production or similar chemical manufacturing processes
  • Knowledge in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies
  • Knowledge Process Controls Engineering
  • Proficient in CAD software and process simulation tools
