WAREHOUSE MANAGER OPENING IN DUARTE, CA

Volt is immediately hiring for Warehouse Managerin Duarte, CA.

As a warehouse manager you will:

• Act as the responsible leader for the Warehouse providing leadership, direction, and motivation to ensure the completion of Warehouse objectives
• Supervise the shipping and receiving functions ensuring the accuracy and integrity of inbound and outbound shipments
• Ensure that customer orders are picked and shipped efficiently, accurately, and on time
• Manage and supervise warehouse staff, including hiring, and training
• Schedule and assign tasks to warehouse employees
• Monitor staff to ensure that all equipment is operated in a safe manner
• Oversee inventory control, including cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse productivity
• Manage inventory and ensuring accurate stock counts and control
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
• Load, unload, stack, and otherwise move product and materials using a fork truck, pallet jack, or other material handling equipment as needed

This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity. M-F 8am-5pm, M-F
Pay Rate: $25/hr

The ideal candidate will have:

• High School Diploma
• Bilingual is a plus
• At least 5 years of leadership / supervisor experience
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
• Ability to adjust priorities, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet established expectations
• Communicate well written and verbally
• Knowledge of Microsoft software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Ability to follow instructions precisely. Attention to detail is a must.
• Forklift and pallet jack operation, a must. Forklift certified a plus.
• Comply with safety and quality regulations.
