Vulcraft/Verco Group (VVG) Group Technology Services (GTS) is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Technology Services Supervisor. This role will be an integral part of our GTS Leadership team formulating and executing our technology vision and strategy for VVG and GTS. This position needs to be located at one of our VVG plant locations and preferably at our VNE/NDC (Norfolk, NE), DALLAS (Dallas, TX), VUT (Brigham City, UT), or VNY(Elmira, NY) location.

Compensation for this role typically ranges from $100,000 to $140,000 annually plus ROA bonus.

Basic Job Functions:

The Technology Services Supervisor is responsible for leading the Technology Services team, providing guidance, support and mentorship to ensure teammate growth as well as successful project planning, communication and execution. The Technology Services Team consists of our Quality Assurance, Data/Business Information, Security, and Software Architecture to support our business and our GTS teammates in achieving success through technology. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead and uphold safety practices, policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards, at all times.

Additional Functions include, but not limited to,

• Maintaining and building alignment within GTS.
• Fostering a self-management, self-improvement mind-set through all project teams.
• Build strong relationships across the VVG GTS leadership team, as well as Nucor technology leadership teams, to ensure alignment and coordination of project activities.
• Build strong relationships with key project sponsors and VVG department leadership to ensure proper understanding of priorities, goals and resource planning.
• Being accountable for team performance and communication.
• Stay current with industry trends and promote continuous learning
• Ensuring projects / programs are well defined, tracked and communicated in a consistent and effective manner.
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years related experience in leading multiple, cross-functional teams in a software technology environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous supervisory / managerial experience.
• Project Management certification (PMP/PMI) or quality assurance certification (Six Sigma).
• Practical application of Agile software development principles and experience leading Agile projects.
• Experience with one or more technology services; security, quality assurance, software architecture, and/or data and reporting.
