Job Description
Surgical Oncology providers will:

• Full time weekday schedule
• No call coverage, weekend or after hours.
• Position will include surgical oncology outpatient clinical office coverage and inpatient rounding. Additional duties to include, but are not limited to: inpatient consults, patient navigation, and complete communication and collaboration with patients and their entire care team. Additional support for the general surgery team required.
• Collaborative, friendly healthcare team that includes Chief of Surgical Oncology and another APP
• Candidates with surgical or oncology experience are highly preferred, but not required
• NP's must be acute care certified to be considered
• New Grads (PA & ACNP) are encouraged to apply

UM Baltimore Washington Medical Center (UMBWMC), a member of the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS), has a full time employed position available for a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join their Surgical Oncology Practice located in Glen Burnie, Maryland.

Qualifications

• Master of Science degree with completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant required.
• Board Certification Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Board Certified Physician Assistant
• Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner required.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse required.
• DEA and CDS eligible.
