SUPPLY CHAIN

Our Global Supply Chain Management team is offering an opportunity to help support our next generation launch vehicle, Neutron. In this role, you will perform a variety of supply chain functions, including identifying risks to production, building comprehensive sourcing schedules, and supporting supplier escalation communications. SUPPLY CHAIN PROGRAM MANAGER

Based out of Rocket Lab's global headquarters in Long Beach, CA, the Supply Chain Program Manager - Neutron is responsible for supporting the development of right to left program plans for Supply Chain to meet our aggressive launch cadence.

WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO:

  • Support Supply Chain in achieving 100% material availability for our next generation launch vehicle, Neutron
  • Work in collaboration with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to plan and execute production material sourcing
  • Identify timing issues from Engineering design release to the availability of Production level material availability
  • Report Supply Chain status, issues, and problems to Rocket Lab senior leadership
  • Manage relationships with a broad set of cross-functional engineering and production teams to deliver on program goals
  • Travel domestically and internationally as needed to solve supplier capacity or timing issues
YOU'LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain or other technical discipline
  • 8+ years of program management experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Direct experience solving complex supplier capacity or timing issues
  • Deep understanding of building Supply Chain program timelines and the various dependencies to enable successful execution
THESE QUALIFICATIONS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE:
  • 5+ years of demonstrated program management experience across multiple manufacturing projects/programs
  • Ability to identify and address problems with a proactive and systematic approach
  • Project management qualifications such as PMP, APMP, etc.
  • Experience managing both suppliers and internal stakeholders to reach quick resolution to issues
  • Mastery of clear and concise communication intended for Executives
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus
  • Regularly required to sit, use hands and fingers, operate computer keyboard and controls, and communicate verbally and in writing
  • Must be physically able to commute to buildings
  • Occasional exposure to dust, fumes and moderate levels of noise
Level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.

Base salary is just one component of our total rewards package at Rocket Lab. Base Pay Range (CA Only)

$110,000-$160,000 USD
