Summary:
Collaborates with key internal and external stakeholders and is a liaison between Vendor and Legal Department during contract approval process. Assists with processing and maintains database of lease agreements to support Finance Department. Provides ongoing coordination of contracts, ensuring all agreements are current, activated and easily retrievable. Responsible for supporting System Service Line Contract Manager in negotiations and vendor sourcing efforts. Responsible for rolling review of price agreements to insure correct pricing is maintained. Reports to Manager of Supply Chain Strategic Sourcing.
Responsibilities:
Maintains the contract management database and generates reports as necessary.
Works collaboratively with internal customers and vendors/suppliers to support contract negotiations and vendor sourcing efforts.
Supports Sourcing Service Line Manager on contract monitoring, analytics and execution.
Assists with the vendor credentialing process.
Drafts and reviews contracts and contract templates. Applies expertise to resolve novel and complex contractual issues.
Identifies and recommends contracting process improvements to standardize performance indicators, promote risk mitigation, and improve cost containment.

Education and Certification Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)

Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially MS Excel required. Experience with contract terminology. Excellent analytical and project management skills. Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal communications skills. Independent thinker. Must be able to work in team setting. Minimal travel to conferences and within MHS Facilities Required Work Experience: One (1) year experience in contracting or related field.
