Job Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting:
    • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements.
    • Help with budgeting and forecasting.
  • Cost Accounting:
    • Track and analyze costs related to production (materials, labor, etc.).
    • Identify and explain differences between actual costs and budgets.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Manage inventory records (raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods).
    • Ensure inventory numbers are accurate.
  • General Ledger:
    • Maintain the company's general ledger by recording transactions and preparing reports.
    • Help with month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Audit and Compliance:
    • Support audits by preparing necessary documents.
    • Make sure the company follows accounting rules and regulations.
  • Financial Analysis:
    • Analyze the company's financial data to find ways to save money and improve efficiency.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Supervise junior accountants and help train new team members.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work with other departments (like production and procurement) to help them understand costs and improve processes.

  • Qualifications:
    • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or CMA is a plus).
    • Experience: 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
    • Skills:
      • Strong understanding of cost accounting.
      • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Excel.
