How Will You Make an Impact?
As a Sr Site Specialist, you will:
- Leverage your communication skills to support team members and key clients.
- Drive excellence through clear communication, scientific teamwork, service scope expansion, SLA adherence, and the development of business metrics.
- Champion innovation and practical process improvements within the program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Instill a customer-focused culture that promotes loyalty through the delivery of market-leading customer experiences.
- Adhere to established safety and environmental guidelines and procedures for all duties.
- Handle daily receiving of customer packages and shipments.
- Ensure accurate deliveries of customer inbound freight and packages to various locations throughout the customer site.
- Coordinate deliveries with the end-user community.
- Communicate any customer issues or potential problems to the supervisor.
- Maintain shipping and receiving packing materials.
- Use powered and manual pallet jacks and lifters daily.
- Pay strong attention to detail in daily site safety procedures.
- Remove cardboard and trash as needed (detrashing).
- Deliver direct shipment orders to end users.
- Coordinate scheduling of equipment with internal customers and external vendors, including generating and tracking monthly PMs due lists.
- Perform vendor escorting for work site activities.
- Generate client-requested reports, including open work orders, work order status, and pending service requests.
- Serve as the first point of contact for any lab support service questions.
- Listen to customer concerns, effectively diffuse dissatisfaction, and quickly identify a course of action with a goal of first-call resolution within established turnaround times.
- Work effectively with a diverse cross-functional team.
- Embrace Practical Process Improvement (PPI) methodologies.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Expertise in GMP/GLP environments preferred.
- Knowledge of inventory management.
- Proven excellence in developing customer relationships.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Focus on laboratory safety and GXP compliance.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
- Heightened attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
- Proficiency in MS Office (with heightened proficiency in Excel) and experience using other computer software programs.
- Strong customer service skills.

Compensation and BenefitsThe hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Maryland is $19.64-$28.75.
