Location: Norfolk, NE
Salary: $110,000.00 USD Annually - $125,000.00 USD Annually
Description:
We are working with a large food manufacturer seeking a Sr. Quality Manager in their Norfolk, NE area. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality assurance and control within their dairy operations. You will ensure that products meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a deep understanding of the dairy industry and a proven track record of success in leading quality programs.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with industry standards, such as SQF, HACCP, and Pasteurized Milk Ordinance (PMO).
• Oversee all aspects of the quality assurance program, including product testing, sanitation procedures, and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections of production processes to identify and address any potential quality issues.
• Manage and mentor a team of quality assurance professionals.
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to product quality.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest dairy industry regulations and best practices.
• Work collaboratively with other departments, such as production, operations, and sales, to ensure quality is embedded throughout the entire organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Dairy Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior quality assurance role within the dairy industry.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing quality management systems.
• In-depth knowledge of dairy processing, sanitation practices, and relevant regulatory requirements (PMO, SQF, HACCP).
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
