The Sr Manager of Finance Transformation - Credit & Collections will lead and drive the finance transformation agenda across the finance/accounting organization, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives. This role is responsible for reengineering processes, implementing best practices, and leveraging technology to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and decision-making capabilities. The Sr Manager will work closely with senior leadership, finance teams, our shared service centers including Cluj, Romania and Manila, Philippines.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategy Development and Execution:

  • Lead the development and execution of the Credit & Collections Transformation strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and priorities.
  • Own and execute transformation roadmaps, milestones, and success metrics for the Credit & Collections processes.
  • Provide strategic direction and guidance to the finance leadership team to ensure effective implementation of transformation initiatives.
  • Establish overall Transformation governance structure and KPI's.
Process Optimization and Efficiency:
  • Drive the reengineering of processes to streamline workflows, enhance automation, and improve data accuracy.
  • Lead initiatives to improve the days sales outstanding ("DSO") and past due AR across all regions while improving quality and customer experience.
Technology Integration and Innovation:
  • Lead the implementation, and integration of finance technology solutions (e.g., robotic process automation, AI tools) to modernize operations. The role will also look to optimize existing tools and partnerships where they exist.
  • Stay ahead of emerging trends in finance technology and innovation, ensuring the finance function leverages the latest tools to stay competitive.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and adoption of digital tools across finance teams.
Change Management and Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Manage transformation projects, including stakeholder engagement, risk management, and communication across departments.
  • Develop and implement change management strategies to support the transition to new systems, processes, and ways of working.
  • Work closely with business leaders to ensure successful adoption and alignment of transformation initiatives with broader business goals.
Governance and Compliance:
  • Ensure that finance transformation initiatives adhere to regulatory standards and internal governance policies.
  • Establish frameworks for monitoring the performance of new processes and systems to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
Leadership and Team Development:
  • 3 to 4 direct reports including regional subject matter experts for Credit & Collections.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing transformation team, providing coaching and guidance to help team members achieve their professional development goals.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the finance function.
Performance Tracking and Reporting:
  • Implement metrics and KPIs to track the effectiveness of finance transformation initiatives and measure progress against objectives.
  • Regularly report progress to the CAO and Sr Director of Finance Transformation, providing insights on key outcomes, challenges, and areas of improvement.
Financial Stewardship and Risk Management:
  • Collaborate with other finance leaders to ensure that finance transformation efforts support sound financial management and risk mitigation.
  • Ensure that new processes and systems maintain the integrity of financial data and minimize operational risk.
QUALIFICATIONS

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
Experience:
  • 8+ years of experience in finance/accounting, previous experience or leadership in a transformation role is a significant plus.
  • Proven track record in managing and delivering finance transformation initiatives, including process optimization.
Skills and Competencies:
  • Understanding of finance systems, process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma), and financial technologies.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to drive change, manage cross-functional teams, and influence senior leaders across the organization.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to balance short-term priorities with long-term strategic goals.
