Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. IT Project Lead to join their team. This role is integral to the replacement of an internal computer system that manages the sterilization of products at our client's location.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software development and project management, with a preference for certified project managers (PMP). You will be responsible for managing all IT-related aspects of the project, demonstrating a high level of autonomy and providing best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership to all IT-related aspects of the project
- Manage project integration, global alignment, scope, cost, and resources
- Oversee time management, resource planning, quality management, communications management, risk management, and procurement management
- Identify project schedule and deliverables
- Assist with requirements development and track project progress
- Identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and address issues as they arise
- Determine staffing needs to ensure project completion on time
- Work with the business team to ensure software development meets business needs and complies with healthcare computer software validation
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited university in a technical or business field
- 5-10 years of project leadership experience, preferably PMP certified
- Direct experience in implementing new systems and processes
- Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, etc.
- Experience presenting to senior leadership
- Experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably in a healthcare manufacturing environment
- Experience with SAP deployments
- Experience in software validation for computer systems in a regulated environment
