Apply now for the position of Sr. Director Connectivity, Ultrasound, and you will guide connectivity in marketing and sales to enables us to put a stronger, much needed, emphasis on connectivity to meet the market need. Having a proactive approach will allow better planning and organization, predicting and solving the customers problems before they happen. The proactive part will include planning each installation with an added focus on connectivity. Put more focus on the connectivity market analysis and strategy.

Your role:

  • Customer facing. DCU steps in when integration challenges cannot be addressed by the local team, the DCU will go out to the site for investigation and devising a plan and possibly addressing the issue on site.
  • Engineering interface. Collaborate with engineering. Provide input to engineering solutions. Review new features and upgrades related to connectivity. Contributed to whitepapers and specifications.
  • Sales support. Training and education. Support RFP process.
  • Support education team creating and presenting material for new releases.
  • Marketing support. Reviews marketing materials for clarity and accuracy. Harmonized material across products.
  • Service support. Support service organization with challenging integration and other technical issue related to connectivity.
  • PACS vendor collaboration. Work with engineering team and PACS vendors to validate DICOM SR prior to all newly released ultrasounds and new SW releases. Work together to resolve customer issues.
Additional Responsibilities:

  • Planning installations. This involves site evaluation of existing hardware and network infrastructure.
  • Resolve connectivity issue at the customer site including: DICOM measurement mapping, image quality issues, PACS connectivity and storage issues.
  • Reviewing cyber security forms as part of the RFP process. Strong technical knowledge is needed to answer specific cyber security features of all out products.
  • Provide feedback to BA on product feature improvements and additions.
  • Review technical documentation such as: MDS2 and DICOM conformance statement
  • Support product launches
  • Support product training
  • Support tradeshows
  • Support product demonstrations
  • Maintain demo equipment and setup
  • Create educational material related to connectivity
  • Third party collaborations to improve interoperability with PACS and reporting application vendors
  • Intra-division collaboration (Service, Education, Syngo Dynamics)
  • Member of industry standard meetings such as DICOM working groups.
  • Domestic Travel 50-75%, limited international travel (to factory)
Technical Skills
  • Know every Product's details related to connectivity
  • DICOM: format, syntaxes
  • Network capture tools (Wireshark, Homedale)
  • Wi-Fi knowledge
  • Image quality optimization (GSDF), display technologies (LCD, OLED. Linear vs. DICOM)
  • Presentation skill
  • Technical presentation for non-technical people.
  • Create educational material for broad audience
  • Customer interaction
  • Revolve customer issues and complaints related to connectivity
  • Customer presentations during demos
  • Product Cybersecurity reviews with IT departments
Analytical skills:
  • Problem solving skills related to connectivity, DICOM, Networking, Wi-Fi
  • Train CSE and application specialist to setup and troubleshoot DICOM connectivity
  • Train CSE to help Wi-Fi troubleshooting: enterprise authentication using username and password or certificates.
  • Harmonize Documentation
  • MDS2
  • DCS
  • IHE (low priority)
  • Datasheets (too many differences in the technical details)
  • Manuals between products contain different details for the same topic
  • Share technical details between products.

  • 10+ years of experience, masters degree in business preferred.

The pay range for this position is $193,000 - $268,000 U.S. dollars annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, as well as where the work will be performed. The annual incentive target is (20%) of base pay. Siemens Healthineers offers a variety of health and wellness benefits including paid time off and holiday pay.
