Summary:
This position is responsible for leading larger integrations of multiple platforms, operating systems, and applications across Memorial to streamline operations, offer seamless data integration, and consolidate resources to maintain quality, efficiency, and cost effectiveness throughout the system.
Responsibilities:
Proactively provides technical guidance to cross-functionally technology team in order to facilitate subsequent systems integration.Develops software systems design, change specifications, and integration plans against contractual and/or process requirements.Proposes system improvements to support overall systems integration to the systems integration team and technology management.Applies strong knowledge of subject matter to the design of subsystems and integration of the total system.Determines systems specific specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for the hardware/software compatibility and maintenance of system security to allow Memorial to interface all of its systems with a variety of standards.Develops and manages an architecture governance process to ensure seamless systems integration and continued process improvement.May participate in contract negotiations related to systems and systems integration.Develops and recommends corrective actions to enable complete systems integration.Develops and documents complex framework for integration and implementation for changes to technical standards.Identifies, analyzes, and resolves system support and overall deficiencies to recommend areas for improvement, typically for a set of systems or complex part of the entire system.Maintains knowledge of HL7 standards and interface engines to ensure optimal integration of healthcare IT systems.Provides or directs verification and validation of software system requirements, traceability, usability, and testability.

Education and Certification Requirements:
Associates: Information Technology (Required)
Additional Job Information:
Complexity of Work: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Required Work Experience: Five (5) years of relevant experience including experience with Infor Cloverleaf Integrator, Epic BRIDGES, JAMS, or Health Level Seven (v2.x, CDA, and FHIR) standards. Other Information: Additional Education Info: in Information Technology, or related field. Relevant work experience may substitute for education requirement.
