Job Title: Senior Sales Executive - International Freight Forwarding

***Must have some, preferably recent or current, freight forwarding sales or international freight sales experience (example: an international carrier or freight broker).

Location: Greenwood Village, CO

In office when not on the road/meeting with clients.

Mon-Fri 8am-5pm

Compensation:

• Mid Level Sales Opening: $60k-$90k annual salary + commission
• Senior Level Sales Opening: $80k-$120k annual salary + commission

Job Overview: As a Sales Executive in the International Freight Forwarding industry, you will be responsible for driving new business development and managing client relationships within global logistics and freight forwarding services. This role requires a proven background in freight forwarding sales, with a focus on expanding market share and delivering tailored logistics solutions to customers, particularly those involved in transpacific trade.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to grow the client base within international freight forwarding.
• Manage a portfolio of accounts, building long-term relationships with clients and ensuring excellent customer service.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the global logistics market.
• Negotiate rates and contracts to meet client needs while maximizing profitability.
• Collaborate with operations, customer service, and other internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services.
• Stay updated on market trends, competitors, and industry regulations to provide insights to clients.

Key Requirements:

• For Mid-Level Sales Talent: Some current or recent experience in freight forwarding sales or international freight sales (such as working with an international carrier or freight broker).
• For Senior Sales Talent: A strong, proven track record in freight forwarding sales with a significant focus on transpacific trade.
• Ability to develop and manage a book of business and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Knowledge of international freight regulations, customs requirements, and logistics solutions.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
