The Neurodevelopment & Psychosis Section in the Department of Psychiatry, and the Lifespan Brain Institute (LiBI) of Penn Medicine and CHOP are devoted to the study of brain and behavior throughout the lifespan. The Senior Research Project Manager C is responsible for both strategic planning and day to day management of a complex and broad range of projects conducted with collaborators both internal and external to the university.

The Children's' Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) is among the finest children's primary, secondary and tertiary care facilities in the world, conducting research at the forefront of pediatric medicine and implementing the most advanced treatment methods. LiBI has been established to promote and facilitate collaborations between Penn and CHOP, with emphasis on neurodevelopment and trans-generational studies where adults are assessed at Penn while their children are studied at CHOP.
Senior Research Program Manager C
The Neurodevelopment and Psychosis Section of the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania and the Penn Medicine- CHOP Lifespan Brain Institute holds a position for a Senior Research Program Manager C for studies across the program. The Senior Program Manager C will oversee day-to-day research project management, coordinate the activities of multiple research projects and support team members. Such efforts include supervising the screening of potential participants to determine eligibility, intake procedures including coordination of schedules, clinical assessment, record review, neurocognitive testing, neuroimaging, blood drawing, data tracking and entry. The Program Manager will provide liaison with participating laboratories, clinical sites at the University and ensures compliance with sponsor, university, school, and IRB policies.
Qualifications:
Minimum of a Master's degree in neuroscience related disciplines, psychology or a social science related field and 5 to 7 years of clinical trial/clinical research experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology/Neuroscience or a related field is strongly preferred. Experience working with children, adolescents and young adults with psychotic disorders and other neurodevelopmental disorders, as well as experience in semi-structured diagnostic interviewing and cognitive testing are required. Applicant must demonstrate excellent organizational, management and supervisory skills. Must have outstanding leadership skills and must be able to multi-task and shift from one project to another depending on priority. Background check required. Must pass Pennsylvania s Child Protective Services Act (also known as Act 73) background checks, within 30-90 days of employment. Position contingent on funding.

Salary offers are made based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, as well as internal and market factors and grade profile.
