RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Byron Center, MI.Summary:A leading company is seeking experienced IT Project Managers to oversee a significant transformation initiative. This is the largest investment in the company's history, involving a large modernization project. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in IT project management, retail systems, and change management. This is an exciting opportunity to drive a high-impact project that will shape the future of a major organization.Key Responsibilities:- Senior Project Manager will lead or support the delivery of a large transformation project, managing all aspects of project scope, budget, timeline, and deliverables
- Use expertise in SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and ITIL to drive successful execution from planning through implementation
- Serve as the primary liaison between business leaders and technical teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- As a Senior Project Manager, you will communicate the strategic purpose behind project decisions, securing buy-in from stakeholders across the organization
- Proactively identify and manage project risks, implementing solutions to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery
- Oversee the modernization of retail systems, ensuring seamless integration of technology to support future business needs
REQUIREMENTS:
- Senior Project Manager: 8-10 years of IT project management experience, with 3-5 years leading large-scale IT projects
- Project Manager: 5-7 years of IT project management experience with exposure to retail or similar industries
- Proven experience managing projects through SDLC and ITIL frameworks
- Strong background in supply chain integration, and inventory management
- Experience managing change in complex, siloed organizations, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
- Strong knowledge in supply chain management, eCommerce platforms, and customer-facing technologies
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to plan and execute large-scale IT projects, ensuring they stay on schedule and within budget
- Agile project management experience preferred
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
