Job Details Facility: 699 Broad StreetJOB SUMMARYThe Senior Data Architect plans, designs, develops and maintains the data architecture, data models and standards for various Data Integration projects. This position is proficient in data requirements gathering, data modeling, data extraction, transformation load ETL routines, ad-hoc querying and data visualization. The Senior Data Architect has oversight of the population, automation and maintenance of metadata. This role will be active in monitoring and facilitating data governance insuring that data quality is a priority.JOB FUNCTIONS
Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions
Develops solutions to monitor usage and performance of the EDW (as it relates ETL loads and end user queries) and alert the EDW team of issues so they can take action 30%
Investigates performance issues with queries and ETL loads on the EDW and comes up with creative solutions to tune the database (employing indexes, partitioning, etc.) and optimize the speed of the loads 30#
Mentors junior data architects and provides support to data analysts for the most complex problems, employing advanced SQL methods and innovative data visualization techniques. 20%
Develops and conducts end-user training for use of the EDW. 20%

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors Information Technology Required and /or (Bachelors Applied Mathematics Required or Masters Information Technology Preferred or Masters Applied Mathematics Preferred or) Required
