RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Austin, TX that is seeking a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer.Summary:The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing, specifically with Microsoft Azure, and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our cloud infrastructure. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, a deep understanding of cloud services, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and implement scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions using Microsoft Azure
- Collaborate with infrastructure, operations, and security teams to define and implement cloud architecture best practices
- Monitor and optimize cloud resources to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts using tools such as ARM templates, Terraform
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to cloud infrastructure and services
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in cloud computing, with a focus on Microsoft Azure
- Strong knowledge of Azure services, including but not limited to: Azure Networking, Identity, Landing Zones, Azure Advisor, Azure Policy, Microsoft Cost Management
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as ARM templates, Bicep Terraform
- Experience in at least one programming language, such as C#, Python, or JavaScript
- Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Azure certifications, such as Azure Administrator, Azure Developer, or Azure Solutions Architect
- Knowledge of IT security best practices and experience implementing security measures in a cloud environment
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management tools
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
