RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Security Project Manager in Broomfield, CO.Duties Include:- Security Project Manager will lead the planning and implementation of the security initiatives with our partners in Infrastructure, IT, and Operations leveraging modern security best practices
- Primary point of contact for all security projects, related activities, and initiatives
- Develop full scale plans working with various IT, security, and Business teams
- Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of technology projects to ensure that all project goals are accomplished, meeting or exceeding commitments
- Assemble and coordinate cross functional teams and manage project resource allocation
- Plan and schedule project timelines and necessary weekly/daily or ad hoc meetings
- Track project deliverables and fill out the project RAID using appropriate tools
- Present and negotiate with internal business application teams, senior management, and IT teams
- Constantly monitor and report on the progress of the project to all stakeholders
- As a Security Project Manager, you will present reports defining project progress, problems, and solutions, and perform risk management for project stakeholders including senior management and executives
- Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
- Provide project evaluations and assessment of results throughout and post-project deployment
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree or four or more years of relevant work experience
- Project management is key, and candidate should have strong Smartsheet and Project management background
- Experience leading Security and IT projects with sub-teams and knowledge of IT management
- Experience managing multiple projects concurrently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage and set reasonable operational-level agreements (OLAs) among IT systems stakeholders
- Cloud-based technologies and information management systems with an understanding of the OSI Layers
- Computer networking concepts and network security methodologies
- Operational security functions, including encryption, access control
- Processes for performing audits of information technology (IT) projects and projects
- Smartsheet and Microsoft 365
- CrowdStrike - LogRhythm - Auditboard
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
