This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.
The Corrections Research Lab is seeking undergraduate and graduate student researchers to join a collaborative team of scientists working on various projects that include but are not limited to:
Some of these projects are funded by grants therefore the lab has an overarching focus on the acquisition and management of grant funded projects.
The purpose of this position is to offer students practical experience in conducting research and to enhance their understanding of methodologies and ability to critically think. This position will help develop valuable skills, such as data analysis and literature review preparation and writing and provide mentorship and networking opportunities. This position allows students to explore career paths, contribute to academic knowledge, and prepare for graduate school. Additionally, students experience tremendous personal growth by being intellectually curious, persistence, and utilizing their problem-solving abilities.
As a result of working in this position, the staff member will gain the following skills:
