What you'll do

• Using statistical tools such as process capability, Design of Experiment, SPC etc.
• Assist manufacturing and suppliers in evaluation and optimization of manufacturing processes and products
• Perform part inspection utilizing the appropriate tools and equipment. Create reports summarizing results and methods utilized
• Define and execute the requirements of gauging and inspection methods for instruments utilized with frequency in the lab
• Guide the plant inspectors in daily activities related to inspection, testing and problem resolution
• Assist in the maintenance and calibration of Quality Assurance lab equipment
• Assist in the maintenance of Safe Quality Food Quality Systems
• Automate quality inspection processes to reduce manual intervention

What you'll need to have:

• Bachelor's degree in quality, plastics, packaging or related engineering field preferred
• Experience in a food grade facility
• Experience with GFSI schemes or Quality Systems desired
• Effective use of MS work and Excel
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Management skills
