Job Title:Project ManagerDepartment:Health System Shared Services | Analytics Center of Excellence

Job Description

The Project Manager will work closely with the Project Management Consultant and Analytics Center of Excellence (ACE) leadership team to support the management of agile, traditional, or hybrid projects as assigned. As a member of the Analytics Center of Excellence (ACE) the Project Manager supports analytics projects covering clinical patient care, education, and shared services (e.g. clinical operations, labor productivity, quality measurement, etc.). The Project Manager supports these projects through initiation, planning, execution, and closure phases. The Project Manager also supports product-based development workflows for those products developed in an agile framework.

The Project Manager coordinates the development of project plans, manages project plans on a day-to-day basis, and effectively communicates project expectations to internal and external stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery. Includes organizing and managing teams, developing project schedules, managing issues, risks, costs, scope and communicating at all levels of the organization. You will utilize key business skills to guide project leadership and team members in achieving the stated business objectives. The position will also facilitate relationships with internal and external stakeholders and function as the central contact point for all project-related information.

Analytics initiatives at the OSU Wexner Medical Center involve multiple technologies, integrated systems, business unit functions, and customers. The Project Manager performs the essential functions required to ensure consistent quality successful delivery of assigned projects while managing competing demands of scope, schedule, cost, risk, quality, and stakeholder expectations. The Project Manager will have a solid core skill set as well as the ability to interact with all levels of staff.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and 2 years of project coordinator experience. Experience using Jira, Waterfall and Agile desired.
