Excentium, Inc. is a Service-Disabled Veteran owned small business that provides Cyber Security Engineering, Information Assurance (IA), management, Certification and Accreditation (C&A), and other IT services to government and commercial organizations.

We have an opportunity for a Program Analyst supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs.

MINIMUM CLEARANCE LEVEL: Public Trust
CITIZENSHIP: US Citizenship
LOCATION: Remote

Position Overview
Responsibilities include facilitating project execution. They ensure that stakeholders are kept in the loop through effective communication strategies. Additionally, they support project teams by providing timely information, reports, and insights. This is an important part of both risk and change management. Analyzing overall project performance within the context of the agency's operations. They evaluate how individual projects contribute to the agency's strategic objectives, ensuring that it meets its immediate goals while aligning with the long-term vision and success of the agency. This also includes monitoring key performance indicators after project kick-off to ensure everything proceeds according to agency and project objectives for the PM. Assist with assessing an the organization's programs and policies and provides recommendations for how to improve them.

Expertise:

  • Demonstrated knowledge and use of graphic and office automation tools and producing documents without errors.
  • Expertise in using MS Suite Tools (MS Project, Excel, Word, SharePoint, MS Teams, and PowerPoint).
  • Demonstrated knowledge in proofreading and editing documents that are highly technical in nature that were created by others to ensure proper format, grammar and style.
  • Demonstrated performance as a communications officer (collaborating with ESA team members and other communications officers to respond to action items in an action tracking tool).
  • Expertise with planning, maintaining and managing schedules for senior leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to create templates for quarterly reports, memos and other correspondence.

Degree/Experience Requirements:
  • Public Trust
  • Bachelor's degree in business or IT discipline.
    • A minimum of 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.
  • Minimum of 5 years working experience in relevant field.
  • Strong communication skills (mastery of English language, both written and verbal)

Certification: (One of the following is desired)
  • Certified Analytics Professional (CAP)
  • Six Sigma Green Belt Certification
  • ITIL Foundation Certification
