The Opportunity

As a Production Manager at Aaron Oil, you will oversee production process to ensure efficiency, quality control, and effective resource management. The role involves optimizing workflows, managing personnel, and producing regular reports on production performance. This person will be a key contributor in driving continuous improvement in operations while maintaining high-quality standards.

This position rotates between 3rd Shift (Mon-Fri 10:00PM-6:30AM) and 2nd Shift (Mon-Fri, 2:00PM-10:30PM).

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Foster, uphold, and prioritize a strong culture of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) throughout the team, ensuring that safety and compliance are integral to all operations.
  • Efficiently allocate and manage resources, including manpower, machinery, and materials, to meet production targets.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Analyze production data and trends to recommend and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Analyze production metrics, such as throughput, downtime, and quality issues, to assess performance and present to management
  • Ensure all production processes meet quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with the Plant Manager to implement and maintain quality control procedures.
  • Monitor and resolve quality issues, ensuring corrective actions are taken to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Monitor inventory movement and documentation for inbound and outbound shipments and address any issues or delays in the loading/unloading process to avoid disruptions in production or delivery schedules.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Natural Sciences, or related field, or three to five years of equivalent experience in a related industry.
  • Three years of processing/inventory management/shipping experience is desirable.
  • Previous leadership experience as a manager or supervisor preferred
  • Ability to clearly communicate with all levels across departments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
