Production Control Assistant

Archbald, PA

Contract Position

$14.42-$19.42/Hour

Responsibilities:

• Support production control by managing work orders, tracking inventory, and ensuring timely flow of materials and orders through the shop floor.
• Release, prioritize, and expedite work orders through the shop floor, coordinating closely with multiple departments.
• Track and monitor key performance indicators, such as on-time starts and idle work orders, providing insights into production capacity.
• Sort, post, and file inventory records, production schedules, and related documentation.
• Maintain records of shipped units and jobs in progress, updating statuses and expediting work orders as needed.
• Prepare shop orders with specifications like style, size, quantity, and priority.
• Review stock records and consumption figures to align inventory with program requirements.
• Input data into automated processing systems and perform related clerical tasks.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience:
  • 1-2 years of experience with Microsoft Excel and SAP.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
