Job Summary:
This Environmental Services EA-3 Process Coordinator assists the EVS management team by making sure the cleaning processes are performed correctly on the units. This position also conducts quality inspections, high touch cleaning audits, nurse rounding, patient care rounding and also performs service recovery as needed with patients and family members. Validates processes are being followed; completes competencies on staff. In addition, this position is responsible for providing safe and clean environment at all times while observing safe practices, infection control measures, customer service standards and departmental policies as listed, but not limited to this job description. Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:
A minimum of 1 year of previous experience is required. A minimum of 3 years of previous hospital/healthcare cleaning experience is preferred.
EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:Requires the ability to read, write or understand the English language, and communicate effectively with patients, visitors and staff while performing housekeeping duties.
