About the Role

As the Principal, Treasury, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Hanesbrands' financial strategy, reporting directly to the Director, Treasury. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to key financial initiatives, including capital structure planning, risk management, and cash deployment strategies.

You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead treasury operations, and oversee a Corporate Finance Senior Analyst. If you are a results-driven finance professional with a passion for analytics and leadership, this is your chance to make a significant impact.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Financial Oversight

  • Prepare and analyze debt structure and compliance on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Support capital structure planning for refinancing, acquisitions, and budget processes.
  • Develop and execute strategies for share repurchases.
Risk Management & Capital Markets
  • Approve and analyze counterparty risk with banks.
  • Lead the execution of cash flow hedging programs and trading strategies.
  • Develop and implement balance sheet hedging programs.
Reporting & Analytics
  • Prepare detailed quarterly and annual debt and foreign exchange reports for external stakeholders.
  • Manage foreign exchange rate analysis and budget forecasting.
  • Provide mark-to-market reporting and variance analysis for month-end closes.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
  • Train, mentor, and oversee the Corporate Finance Senior Analyst.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external audit requests related to debt and foreign exchange.
  • Foster cross-functional communication with business units and external partners.
What You'll Need to Succeed

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience; OR Master's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience; OR Doctorate with 6+ years of experience; OR 4+ years of equivalent work experience can substitute for a Bachelor's degree.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Expertise in Excel modeling and financial data analysis.
  • Strong background in finance and accounting practices.
  • Proven ability to manage and report on debt structures and compliance.
  • Ability to approve interest accruals and analyze variances to budget.
  • Expertise in annual and quarterly reporting for debt and foreign exchange.
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements and reporting standards.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
