JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Medication Orders - Enters prescriptions into pharmacy software for pharmacist review. Pulls and labels hazardous and nonhazardous medications for pharmacist verification. Demonstrates ability to complete basic pharmacy math calculations for specialty medications.
• Cold Chain Distribution - Prepares packages for delivery following specific cold chain distribution procedures.
• Phone Triage - Performs outpatient phone triage.
• Refills - Contacts patients to schedule refills and conduct disease assessments.
• Insurance - Performs insurance adjudication and troubleshooting.
• Inventory - Receives and enters inventory into pharmacy software.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years' work experience as a Pharmacy Technician
• Certified via Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) Registered with Ohio Board of Pharmacy as a Registered Pharmacy Technician.

Preferred:

• 1+ year of work experience in specialty pharmacy
