Job Summary:

This position involves supporting licensed Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, or Speech-Language Therapists. Responsibilities include assisting with age-appropriate patient treatments, providing administrative support, and performing general departmental duties in Rehabilitation Services. Adherence to system and departmental policies, as well as incorporation of continuous quality improvement, customer service, and teamwork, is essential.

Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

Assist therapists with age-appropriate patient treatments.

Occasionally provide additional assistance during treatments.

Offer general administrative support for therapists.

Perform general departmental duties, including:

Maintaining a safe and clean patient care environment.

Ensuring all equipment is functional and well-maintained.

Ensuring the availability of necessary supplies.

Required Minimum Education:

High School Diploma or GED.

Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s):

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.

Preferred Experience:

Experience in a patient-related role is preferred.

Required Minimum Skills:

Strong communication and time management skills.

Familiarity with medical terminology.

Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks effectively.
