Volt is immediately hiring Painter- Second shift in BRIMFIELD, IL
As a Painter- Second shift, you will:
Paint team paints or coats surfaces of heavy mobile material handling equipment and associated parts for use in mining, mill operations, construction, and military service using commercial wet spray-painting equipment.
Painter Responsibilities:
Coordinate the completion of painting parts and vehicles with production team to ensure all jobs are done in accordance with quality and safety standards.
Painter Job Duties:
- Communicate with production, maintenance, quality control, warehousing, and other departments to maintain a safe and effective environment and to ensure quality products
- Clean, sand, and coat parts with air powered equipment and tools, paint scrapers, and pneumatic paint guns
- Move totes, parts, and equipment using a pallet jack and/or forklift
- Make adjustments to paint booth, guns and all equipment
- Ensure compliance with operating policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment and efficient
- Operations
This is a 12 Month full time Contract opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have: 2+ years prior commercial painting experience
Ability to safely drive forklift
Pay Rate: $20 - $23 per hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
