Key Responsibilities :

Due to strong enrollment demand, Juniata College is pleased to invite applications for open ranked, tenure-track positions for Professors in various fields of Business with appointments beginning in August 2025. Juniata College is a selective, nationally ranked, liberal arts institution located in south central Pennsylvania, highly regarded for academic excellence (www.juniata.edu). The Department of Accounting, Business, and Economics is IACBE-accredited and offers undergraduate Programs of Emphasis (POEs) in over ten areas as well as master's degree programs in Accounting, Business Administration, and Organizational Leadership.

Teaching assignments will include introductory undergraduate through graduate-level courses in management, strategy, operations management, international business, sports management, human resources, and a range of other general business courses, as needed. This position will require a student-centered approach to teaching and advising, assistance with student career development, participation in scholarly and professional development activities, and contribution to the development of the department and college. Faculty members average a 21-credit teaching load for the academic year.

Position Qualifications:

Qualified candidates will possess a PhD in a business-related field (Preferred), a DBA, or MBA. An ideal candidate will possess teaching experience (classroom, undergraduate, graduate and online), related professional experience, an active research agenda, a willingness to design and deliver new courses and programs, a flexible attitude toward teaching assignments, and a strong commitment to teaching.

Supervision Required/Given:

This position reports to the Accounting, Business, and Economics Department Chair.
