Voyatek is seeking applicants to occupy the position of Application Software Architecture within our NYC Administration for Children's Services team located in New York, NY.

Key Responsibilities:

• Examining and defining current architecture systems.
• Meeting with technology managers, the design team as well as non-technical peers to discuss the goals and identifying the hardware and software infrastructure needs to accommodate the future architectural goals.
• Evaluate different architectural and design approaches, solutions, frameworks, tools, and technologies while recommending the most suitable one.
• Architect, design and develop secure, high performance, scalable and maintainable applications using appropriate architectural patterns.
• Creating high-level product's technical specifications, design documents and providing the architectural blueprints to development team.
• Guiding & assisting the development team throughout the performance monitoring process and troubleshooting & resolving issues with design flaws and system bottlenecks.
• Reviews static and dynamic Cyber vulnerabilities identified by Veracode tool scan and suggest system security measures.
• Help making application ADA compliant.
• The vendor will provide an Application Software Architecture with minimum of 8 years of development and architecture experience with java/.Net, web-logic/ tomcat.
• The consultant will be onsite at 150 Williams in downtown NYC at least 3 days a week.
• ACS will interview and approve the candidate for this position.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. This includes, but is not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location. At Voyatek, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current hourly range is $55.00 to $65.00

If applicable, hires for these projects will be required to obtain a Federal Public Trust Clearance (Moderate Background Investigation). This clearance process may start upon offer acceptance; however, this clearance must be obtained prior to working on these projects.
