Nurse Senior - Virtual RN Together Teams
Shift: Full-Time Rotating
Location: Silver Spring, MD

Exciting opportunity to join our new Patient Care Model called Together Teams. This model consists of a 3-person team (Virtual RN, Bedside RN and CNA). This team brings added patient safety, expertise and mentoring to bedside care and leverages technology.

Departments: Med/Tele, Med/Surg Oncology and Surg/General Surgery

*Please note this is a Virtual RN position where the employee will physically work on-site at the central HUB located at Holy Cross Health Silver Spring, MD (this is not a remote work from home position).

Responsibilities:
- The Virtual Registered Nurse (Virtual RN) works onsite at our Silver Spring location in the Virtual RN HUB.
- The Virtual RN is a member of the Nursing Care Team and is responsible for collaboration, communication and facilitation of optimal provision of care through a computerized and/or digital platform supporting daily management of care.

- Responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, coordination, monitoring and evaluation of the patient's plan of care from admission to discharge.
- Utilizes clinical knowledge, critical thinking skills and the principles of case management and adult education to coordinate, implement and support the plan of care.

- Performs the roles of mentor, clinician, educator, consultant/collaborator and navigator.

Requirements:

- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; BSN required.
- Current licensure by the Maryland Board of Nursing or Compact State as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum of eight (8) years of recent experience in health condition management which must include adult care.
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience.

Pay Range: $41.44-$55.93

(Pay based on experience, skills and education. May vary based on location. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates).
