Job Title: Nurse Practitioner

Duties & Responsibilities: A Nurse Practitioner (NP) is an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) who provides primary, acute, and specialized care to patients across the lifespan. NPs are licensed to assess, diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of medical conditions. They perform physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and provide health education and counseling. NPs work independently and in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive patient care. This is a 16 week contract working 5 8 hour day shifts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year experience (Prior in an inpatient setting strongly preferred.
• NYS License/register NP or NCCPA certified or eligible PA required
• Possession of Medicare NPI#
• BLS
• ACLS
