Our GFL team is expanding, and we're looking for a National Accounts Sales Executive to join us in Raleigh, NC! The National Accounts Executive will promote and sell GFL Environmental national program to national clients from qualified US national target accounts. This individual will prepare and execute complex service agreements using their knowledge of pricing, costs and equipment with input from the National Accounts Director of Sales & Pricing.

A Day in the Life of a National Accounts Sales Executives
• Sell services to new US national account prospects
• Develop additional revenue streams from existing GFL national accounts
• Process and respond to all qualified bids/RFPs for potential new national clients
• Develop and maintain a target account list of US national prospects
• Demonstrate proficiency in preparation and presentation of large-client sales presentations
• Maintain awareness of the activities of GFL competitors
• Conform in all respects with applicable federal, state and local laws, regulations, ordinances and other orders and to all company policies, procedures and directives from superiors
• Maintain professionalism towards internal and external clients
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested by GFL management
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:
• Bachelor's degree from a university or college equivalent
• 5+ years of major accounts sales experience
• Equivalent combination of education and/or experience
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers and the general public
• Excellent customer service ability
• Solid waste industry experience or knowledge is a plus
• Ability to work and travel between Canada and US (on land and by air) ~ 50%
