Mortgage Post Closing Position

Hours: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Monday - Friday

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour.

Location: St Paul MN 55108

In this role you will be responsible for performing a variety of post-closing loan servicing tasks. Functions include opening mail, checking in files, stacking, DDH, and responding to routine client inquiries. This position requires a high level of accuracy and the ability to work with loan documentation, state specific standards, and compliance deadlines per client direction.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Audit/Quality control as per Lender provided guidelines.
• Timely delivery of closed residential loan files to various lenders for funding
• Check-in closed files into computer system with accuracy
• Stack and audit closed loan files up to 300 pages
• Ability to understand all recordable documents and to identify them
• Ability to handle client issues and corrections with professional responses via email
• Ability to work quickly and calmly in a busy environment
• Critical thinking, problem solving, attention to detail is crucial
• Solid organizational skills with demonstrated ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Proficient with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel and Word
• Ability to work independently as well as cooperatively with team members
• Strong customer service skills
• Solid alpha numeric data entry skills

Qualification & Skill Requirements:

• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent
• Background required prior to starting.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality is a must.
• Ability to use basic computer programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Excellent time management skills as well as attention to detail
• Must be able to lift up to 25lbs.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
