Position Overview:

The Marketing Coordinator facilitates new store opening plan coordination, social media, and influencer marketing for Ollie's along with assisting with charity campaigns. Additionally, this role works closely to assist the Associate Marketing Manager and Marketing Director in any additional projects assigned. This role is critical to the Marketing team that is executing a transformation of the Ollie's Marketing approach.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Assist in organizing and supporting comprehensive Store Opening plans
  • Distribute, write all news store press release and media advisories, and follow up with media
  • Be the main PR contact for all media
  • Develop influence marketing program for Ollie's in conjunction with our agency partner
  • Execute all instore and corporate charity campaigns
  • Assist with new store opening plans
  • Complete any additional responsibilities and/or duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing.
  • Extremely organized
  • Outstanding written and communications skills.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize a variety of tasks and activities and work within strict timeframes and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook; Internet applications.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment.
  • Positive attitude.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 10 pounds.
  • Ability to push and pull up to 10 pounds.
  • Ability to remain in a normal seated position regularly
