Job Summary:

The Market Intelligence and Analytics Manager is responsible for the ongoing monitoring, analysis, understanding, and summary of energy market dynamics, including regulatory, policy, legislative, technical, financial, emerging technologies, and competitiveness. This role is crucial for informing, refining, and enhancing the strategy and planning for project development at Client.

Essential Functions:

• Conduct ongoing in-depth surveillance of energy market dynamics.
• Analyze market data to uncover emerging trends, opportunities, and challenges.
• Stay updated with changes in the regulatory environment and interpret their impact.
• Understand new legislative actions affecting the renewable energy market.
• Integrate technical nuances of market dynamics into strategic decisions.
• Examine financial intricacies of the energy market, including tariffs, subsidies, and incentives.
• Assess the competitive landscape, identifying key players and potential threats.
• Provide actionable insights to shape and evolve the company's market strategy.
• Offer analytical support for project development planning.
• Generate detailed reports and presentations on market intelligence findings.
• Engage with industry stakeholders through conferences, forums, and meetings.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a holistic approach to market analysis.
• Commit to continuous learning and stay updated with emerging tools and methodologies.
• Identify potential market risks and provide recommendations to mitigate them.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Science, or a related field; a Master's degree in Business Administration or Market Analysis is a significant advantage.
• 3+ years of experience in market intelligence, analytics, or a closely related role, preferably within the renewable energy sector.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently on projects and key deliverables.
• Advanced proficiency with MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Excellent research and analytical abilities with the capacity to convey conclusions and recommendations effectively.
• Familiarity with the regulatory and legislative environment related to the renewable energy sector.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a track record of producing detailed reports and presenting findings to senior leadership.
• Proven capability to think strategically and link market insights to actionable business strategies.
