Job Description

Manager of Proposal Development functions as the leader of the proposal development staff of Eurofins EBPS Division. They provide training and support for the proposal development staff. In addition, they provide support to Business Development Director on client calls and client escalation for proposal development inquiries.

S/he reports to the VP, Contracts and Proposal Department and works closely with Senior Leadership, Business Development, Operations, Scientific Affairs, Transport and Kits and Supplies as key internal customers.

Job Requirements:

• Provide Supervision, training and support for EBPS Proposal Development Teams, when required.
• Review Request for Proposal/Request for Information (RFP/RFI) materials upon receipt to determine pricing strategy in conjunction with Leadership Team.
• Provides support to EBPS Business Development and Leadership Team for Proposals and Commercial Operations.
• Works to streamline proposal process by establishing guidelines and standards amongst EBPS proposal groups.
• Establish process improvements and continually assessing technology advancements.
• Establish consistency and uniformity amongst EBPS solutions.
• Assist with all functions of Proposal and Budget generation, amendments and reconciliations.
• Ensure all proposal generation for timely delivery to clients; interact with clients and participate in client meetings and bid defenses, as required.
• Manages departmental proposal templates, assay pricing and facilitates appropriate templates are completed by necessary departments.
• Assist with all areas of Proposal Development, including development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Travel for training needed, as required.

Qualifications

Experience:

• Education or experience with focus on laboratory sciences
• Proficient use of MS Office

Education:

• BSc/BA or equivalent in healthcare/life sciences (laboratory or clinical services preferred) or business degree from a reputable institution.
• Graduate business or science degree (MSc or MBA) desired.
