Reporting to Senior Manager, ISC Finance, Strategy and Transformation this role is primarily responsible for supporting, from a financial standpoint, Network Architecture roadmap of the Company (manufacturing, logistic, sterilization, ...).
This role will be a critical in coordinating actuals monitoring and forecast process of all financials related to ISC Strategy and Transformation (S&T) and will work in close collaboration with ISC S&T Finance Team.
This role is also responsible for providing finance support to ISC teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support Business Cases related to Network architecture projects (manufacturing, logistic, sterilization, ...), including existing and new programs
- Consolidate and ensure consistency of financial data related to Architecture projects
- Assist in the coordination of quarterly projections, annual budgets, and 3-year strategic planning process
- Support analysis and preparation for EPDT
- Make the link between Ops Admin group and ISC budget owner to ensure alignment on fixed costs and overhead expenses
- Answer ad hoc requests and support special projects, as required
- Provide guidance for restructuring / integration accounting treatments in accordance with GAAP.
- Comply with all local, state, federal, and BD safety regulations, policies, and procedures
- Comply with all local BD quality policies, procedures, and practices through consistent application of sound quality assurance principles
- Plant site and headquarter visits, as required
QUALIFICATIONSEducation - Bachelor's Degree required preferably in Accounting/Finance or similar field.
Experience
- Operations Finance preferred
- 2+ years of relevant accounting experience preferred
- Previous experience within BDX Finance preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong Financial systems and tools knowledge and utilization skills (SAP, JDE, BPC).
- Advanced proficiency in Excel as demonstrated by previous experience creating and manipulating complex spreadsheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, etc.).
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Power BI, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated ability to use logic, reasoning, and critical thinking in identifying the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
- Resilient and persistent when faced with obstacles.
- Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and handle multiple/detail-oriented tasks.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a global, cross-functional environment
- Strong collaboration and demonstrated ability to establish relationships and influence others through informed discussions and presentations.
