- Lead the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals and initiatives.
- Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and create and maintain a structure of non-financial reporting metrics to measure and drive operational efficiencies.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support business planning and decision-making.
- Work closely with operations business partners to identify and track cost savings opportunities.
- Perform analysis and build bridges of actual vs forecast or forecast vs forecast performance.
- Manage the capex process including ROI analysis, preparation of Capital Expenditure Request (CER) presentations, budgeting, forecasting, and tracking of actual spend.
- Manage accruals and prepaids.
- Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to senior management.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (MBA or CPA preferred) and 5-10 years of demonstrated progressive experience in accounting and financial planning and analysis.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Experience with Oracle or other ERP systems including use of BI and other multidimensional database management tools within a medium to large enterprise.
- Previous experience of partnering closely with business operations teams and the ability to develop a deep understanding of the business operations.
- Proven record of success influencing individuals who are several levels up in the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to drive operational improvements and efficiencies.
- Outstanding communication skills and relationship building capabilities.
- Telecommunications, marine, or technical experience preferred.
- Government accounting and contracting experience a plus.
