The Machine Repair Apprentice will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, diagnosing issues, and implementing effective solutions to ensure the smooth operation of our equipment. This position is critical to maintaining the efficiency and productivity of our manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, a proactive approach to maintenance, and a commitment to safety and quality. In addition to technical skills, the Machine Repair Apprentice must have good communication skills to effectively collaborate with other team members and report on the status of repairs and maintenance activities. Duration of Program: 8,000 hours

Requirements:

Must meet one of the following requirements:

  • Graduated from either a four year technical high school with a course of study in machine trades, or
  • Graduated from a machine trades program at one of the technical schools or a community college (post high school)
  • Consideration will be made for extensive machine shop experience with prior machine repair experience.
The successful candidate will need to meet with a company representative as well as with the Program Manager, Office of Apprenticeship Training from the State of Connecticut, Department of Labor to be enrolled into the program.
