Reporting to the Student Technology and Library Services Manager, the Library Circulation Assistant provides basic circulation services and support for the campus libraries.

Perform basic circulation services including charging and discharging items, registering users, routing intercampus requests, and processing library materials.

Assist and instruct the college community with use of library equipment, in addition to troubleshooting student technology issues.

Provide in-person and online support and service to students, faculty, staff and community members.

Perform library opening and closing procedures.

Perform duties and complete projects as assigned by the Director of Library Services.

Support the campus libraries.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.

LTA certification preferred.

Minimum of one year related library experience required.

Proficiency with computer applications, data analysis, and Microsoft Office and Google suites. Experience with library computer applications preferred.

Strong public service orientation.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work without direct supervision and demonstrate accuracy.
