Within our Analytical Services team, we have a functional service provider solution, which is a unique partnership that allows our customers to leverage the experience of our staff, while allowing you, the employee, to gain direct experience working onsite at a pharmaceutical/ biopharmaceutical company, all while maintaining full-time benefits.
Job Description:
This job position will be involved with analytical testing to support product quality analysis for Bioprocess Development under the supervision of a scientist, to include:
- Sample preparation involving consistent pipetting and attention to detail
- Performance of enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISAs) to monitor impurities and to assess antigen binding.
- Performance of basic data acquisition and statistical analysis with clear and concise documentation in electronic lab notebooks.
- Reporting experimental results to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner to help inform project decisions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in lab sciences such as Chemistry, Biochemistry, Immunology, Chemistry, Biology, Molecular Biology or similar
- Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 2+ years') or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Sound scientific understanding of ELISA technology to effectively interpret and troubleshoot is desirable.
- Experiences in electronic lab notebooks and data management tools is a plus.
- The candidate must possess strong written, oral, and collaborative skills to effectively communicate experimental procedures and results.
- Basic knowledge in related functional areas, such as cell culture and protein purification are a plus.
- Demonstrated record of independent thinking, creativity, and scientific accomplishments.
In some cases, an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.
