Construction Partners Inc., a publicly traded highway infrastructure company, is currently seeking a Support Supervisor to join the IT team in Dothan, AL. The Support Supervisor is responsible for overseeing support personnel and managing the company's ticket management system. End-user support will be provided by leveraging PC remote control software, telephone, video conferencing, email, etc. The Support Supervisor will work closely with all the other IT departments to resolve any IT issues.

What you will do:

• Oversee a team of Support Analysts and day-to-day operations of the help desk
• Oversee the progression of service tickets to completion
• Analyze service desk/ticket workflows and suggest/implement more efficient processes
• Ensure that support phone calls are being answered
• Provide technical support for our end-users
• Provide training on in-use systems to Support Analysts
• Maintain the on-call rotation schedule and make adjustments to ensure coverage
• Inventory and lifecycle management
• Assist with gathering requested data for audit purposes
• Assist other teams and colleagues with various tasks as requested

What you will need: (minimum qualifications)

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related field preferred. Equivalent experience acceptable
• Excellent leadership and people management skills
• Strong computer, analytical, and people skills
• Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with users and staff
• Experience with and strong understanding of Microsoft operating systems; both server and workstation
• Understanding of network infrastructure and concepts
• Certifications are a plus, but equivalent and relevant education, experience, and training are acceptable
• Experience in project management
• Some travel required

This is an in-person, in-office position.
