RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an IT Manager - Network Services in Boca Raton, FL.Key Tasks:- Manage diverse teams and perform critical employee tasks for skills building feedback, motivation, and improvement
- As an IT Manager, you will leverage business and technical expertise across disciplines, demonstrating a high level of industry knowledge
- Contribute to the strategic direction of the company
REQUIREMENTS:
- Four (4) year degree or equivalent experience
- 8-10 years in IT and 3-5 years managing engineering teams
- Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and containerization platforms (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Proven project management skills and experience
- Proven expertise in cloud network engineering and security, with hands-on experience in Azure, OCI, AWS, and GCP
- Extensive knowledge of hybrid cloud and multi-cloud environments, with successful implementation and management
- Advanced knowledge of major network technologies (Cisco, PA, F5, WAN, BGP, IPSec, Layer 2 & L3, HCX)
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices and experience in developing and managing CI/CD pipelines
- Functional understanding of general financial principles
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide effective solutions
- Excellent leadership, communication, and mentoring skills, with a track record of leading and guiding teams
- Ability to understand business use cases with senior leadership and translate that into solutions on the application side
- Ability to succinctly provide guidance to senior management
- Certifications: (Preferred) CCNA, AWS, GCP, VCP-DCV Vmware certified professional, Azure network engineering
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
