Central Kentucky Ag Credit Summer Internship Position

Asa Central Kentucky Ag Credit intern, you'll be joining a cooperative dedicated to supporting Central Kentucky's farmers, livestock producers, and rural communities by providing the financial resources needed to maintain a stable, healthy, and sustainable food supply. About Us

Central Kentucky Ag Credit serves rural communities and agricultural industries across 17 central Kentucky counties. As part of the nationwide Farm Credit System, we provide loans for agricultural purposes, including land, equipment, and rural housing. More than 3,800 borrowers trust us as their lending partner of choice.

What to Expect

Our summer internship program offers a unique opportunity to explore various facets of agricultural lending, credit, accounting, marketing, and more. You'll gain hands-on experience and insight into the inner workings of our Association while contributing to meaningful projects that directly impact our members.

Responsibilities include

• Represent Central Kentucky Ag Credit with professionalism and enthusiasm, delivering outstanding customer service to both internal teams and external clients.
• Take part in learning opportunities that offer insight into the methods, procedures, and standards that drive our success.
• Assist in data collection and organization for departmental projects and reports.
• Help plan and contribute to the production of the "Beyond Agriculture" Podcast.
• Additional tasks and responsibilities as they arise during the internship.

Required Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A professional attitude with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Canva, and Adobe software.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Self-starter who can work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred

• Knowledge of the agriculture industry.
• Must be enrolled in a college degree program relevant to the position or recently graduated (within the last semester/quarter).
• Junior or Senior standing in college is preferred.
