Inspector - Receiving

Archbald, PA

Contract Position

At Moseley we are supporting the largest defense contrators Missile and Fire Control program. The efforts of our employees are the key to the newest innovations in defense and aerospace.

Responsibilities:

• Perform manual and clerical duties involved in receiving materials, supplies and equipment.
• Utilizes computers to enter transactions, validate information and maintain database.
• Within prescribed limits unpacks and examines items received and verify completeness against bills of lading, invoices, and other records; keep records of goods received; reject damaged, excess, or misdirected goods and process necessary paperwork to notify appropriate purchasing, material, vendor, and other concerned organizational personnel.
• Route materials to inspection, stores, or other destinations; and may operate mobile equipment used to move materials.
• Answer inquiries concerning status of rejected or other goods.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Inspection Manufacturing setting
• Precious Manufacturing experience
• High School Diploma (no Bachelor's degree required)
• Computer literacy (all work completed on computer for this role)
• Desired Qualifications:
  • Inspection experience with a microscope and printed wire boards
  • Ability to reach blueprints
