The ideal candidate has a strong blend of product management expertise, technical knowledge of IAM systems, and familiarity with healthcare workflows and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Product Strategy & Roadmap:
    • Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for identity and access management (IAM) products in alignment with organizational goals.
    • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for innovation in healthcare identity solutions.

    • Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring the IAM product addresses the needs of patients, providers, and administrative staff.
  3. Healthcare-Specific Focus:
    • Design IAM solutions that integrate seamlessly with healthcare IT systems, including electronic health records (EHR) platforms like Epic or Cerner.
    • Address identity challenges unique to healthcare, such as patient portal access, provider credentialing, and telehealth authentication.
  4. Product Development & Delivery:
    • Work closely with engineering, design, and operations teams to deliver IAM features on time and within budget.
    • Define and prioritize product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
    • Oversee product testing to ensure functionality, security, and compliance.
  5. Compliance & Security:
    • Ensure IAM products meet healthcare regulations and standards, such as HIPAA, HITECH, HITRUST, and GDPR.
    • Partner with security teams to integrate best practices, including multifactor authentication (MFA), role-based access control (RBAC), and zero-trust architecture.
  6. User Experience:
    • Optimize the user experience for healthcare professionals and patients, balancing security with ease of access.
    • Develop features like single sign-on (SSO), mobile authentication, and password-less login to streamline workflows.
  7. Performance Monitoring:
    • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of IAM products, such as adoption rates, user satisfaction, and incident reductions.
    • Use data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement and guide future development.
  8. Communication & Documentation:
    • Create and maintain product documentation, including roadmaps, user guides, and training materials.
    • Provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders on product progress, challenges, and achievements.

Qualifications:

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).
Experience:
